ProLectric is hiring a qualified Texas Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician.

ProLectric is looking for an experienced residential service electrician to join our growing team. This is a long-term career opportunity with an established, family-owned electrical contractor serving Dickinson, League City, Galveston, and the Bay Area Houston communities.

We are looking for someone who can independently run a residential service van, troubleshoot electrical problems, complete quality wiring and repair work, and communicate professionally with customers.

Journeyman or Wireman Electrician Job Requirements:

Please review the following requirements carefully before applying.

  • Must hold a current Texas Residential Wireman or Texas Journeyman Electrician license
  • Must be able to independently run and manage a residential service van
  • Must have strong troubleshooting, wiring, and diagnostic skills
  • Must be experienced with residential electrical repairs, replacements, and service work
  • Must provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally with homeowners
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must own the basic hand tools needed to perform daily electrical service work
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • No DUI, DWI, or felony convictions
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening
  • Must have a valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and attitude
  • Must be dependable, customer-friendly, and team-oriented
  • Must be willing and able to work 40+ hours per week
  • Must be willing to participate in rotating weekend and on-call schedules as needed
